CO-OWNER

Whitney graduated from University of Maine at Presque Isle with a B.S. in Recreation & Health in 1988. Whitney has been a group fitness instructor for over 25 years. Whitney has been an active member of the American Council of Exercise since 2002 & a professional certified personal trainer for 17+ years. Whitney currently is co-owner/trainer at PNF and lives in Gray with her husband.

Fitness History

High School Sports, Field Hockey, (Honorable Mention & State Runner Up ) Basketball, Track and Field. College Field Hockey and Power Lifting. (NPC) National Physique Committee in Florida for Competitive Bodybuilding, placing 1st in Key West and 2nd in Fort Lauderdale. She completed in several Marathons and multiple competitive road races. Qualified 100th in the Boston Marathon and completed while 6 months pregnant. 25+ years experience instructing group exercise classes and spinning. Whitney enjoys running, Yoga, core training, mountain biking, and spending time with her 6 grandchildren and fur babies.

Graduated from University of Maine at Presque Isle with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation Leisure Services/Health. A member of ACE- American Council on Exercise and IDEA Health and Fitness Association since 2002. Certified Personal Trainer & Clinical Exercise Specialist. CPR and First Aid Certified. Certified Zumba and Pound Instructor.

Philosophy

Fitness is a simple concept that has been over complicated. Changing your body is a process of being able to positively balance a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual lifestyle which is accomplished overtime through CONSISTENT EFFORT.
